These are well made with durable denim. They fit well and I can tell they will last a long time.
I'm a very active person and my clothes get really stinky after jut one or two wearings. I've been really happy with the Ably stain and odor resistance so I was excited to get these jeans. I wear a size 6 normally so I got an 8 in both the indigo and the black. The 8 fits perfectly - like a glove - so if I were someone who puts my jeans in the dryer I'd probably go up to a 10. Since I never use a dryer, the 8 should be just fine. These are true high-waisted (waistband sits at the narrowest part of my torso), and what I'd call a really traditional straight fit (think 90's) which I really like. The fabric is a mid-weight denim (so the indigo is dark, and the black will fade over time) that's 97% cotton/3% spandex so it as a nice amount of give. I'm extremely happy with these, and my advice would be to make sure you get the right size.
I’ve purchased Ably before, so I’m aware that their sizing runs small so I got the right pants. I wear a size 14 in most pants, however, Ably for me is 16 - and even that’s a bit snug. So first make sure you check measurements so you get the right size fit. The pants are great- a thick denim that is tailored and dark enough to be worn with a blazer or on its own for a more casual look.
